What is wrong with LazyWeb?

If you check the main page at LazyWeb you find a lot of empty questions without any links/backlinks. Is it broken or are people abusing it someway? Just wondering and hoping to wake the sleeping dogs.

I’m afraid that happens when somebody accesses the trackback cgi via browser. never tested though

I suppose the trackback cgi should check if a URL is submitted along with the “hit” as well as meaningful text and delete all others - basically what happens is a type of trackback spam - which would eventually kill lazyweb, cleanly and easily.
