Here’s a clip of Sing and Rozemarijn dancing to some Bajofondo track:
The short clip “Tango Ghosts (2005)” is a tango nuevo style video clip to Gotan Project’s Santa Maria…. Interesting visuals — the whole clip is in inverted colors, making the dancers appear like ghosts on a one-colored background. In addition the scene is shot from multiple angles, projected on top of each other, just the first few seconds are single-scene. The dancing is OK, but nothing too fancy, stylish or “high class” — as far as I can tell.
Much more interesting is the real background story to this clip: is creators are Beatfix, a group of VJs who do stuff like this in real-time as video performance. And I have to say, this really looks cool. Imagine the possibilities… many more examples can be found at beatfix’s website!
The holidays have given me a chanc eto once more go out and dance. Not ballroom, not tango - just freesytle disco. And it happened that it was also Madonna’s “hung up”. Today I stumbled across this page titled “dancing like madonna” (not to be compared to zefrank’s dance lessons). Great stuff, great grooves and great dancing. Ah, and you will definietely want to check ot the music videos of madonna’s latest hits: at madonna.com. Gott go back dancing in my living room!
