What I would truly love is to have some kind of tag system in iTunes. The classification “genre” doesn’t just make it anymore. When you have classical music you can have all sorts of styles, moods and whatever. I do need some other way to find the music i want, create playlists automatically with a certain set of style, mood and genre. Right now my music is classified by genre like this: “Electronic - Latin”, which makes this better - but then this clutters up the interface, the list of genres at my iPod etc. Tagging or “keywords” as it is called in iPhoto would be it. Hey, one could even link up tags in iPhoto and iTunes in order to find the best music for a slideshow or - the other way round - find good pictures for iTunes visualizer! Maybe the whole thing with Flickr-integration? I wish there was some way to ping apple about this - but since I am not really fond of their feature request system (no trackback and usually no feedback) this one goes out to lazyweb.
