The development of my alltime favorite reference manager “Bibdesk” is proceeding nicely. The folks are adding many very useful features.

Many people use MS Word, even though Word is not well suited for writing scientific papers and technical reports. Most of the commercial bibliographic software can easily be integrated with MS Word. However, for me it is more important to have BibTeX support than a nifty Word plug-in.

BibDesk 1.0 Release Candidate 1

is available here. BibDesk is a Cocoa-Frontend for LaTeX’s BibTeX bibliography files. Using OSX-Technologies for a great experience - you will never want to go back to Endnote ;)
