My ipod mini displays a folder with an explanation mark on it and it won’t load when i plug in to computer. Itunes does’nt reconize it

when i turn my ipod on to a song and press play, it simply does not play. when it starts after about 5 minutes, there is a horrid static sound, followed by the song, now warped and completely messed up. is something corruoted in the ipod? i know it’s not the headphones, bc ive used other headphones and experienced the same problem.

the apple shows on screen for like 15 seconds, then off for about 2 seconds then back on for 15 off for 2 on and on. I can’t get it to turn on and it seems like it wants to turn on but won’t I tried to reset it everything nothing works. Is it dead?? I plug it into the computer and its not recognized its like stuck in the beginning mode plz help

Try changing the battery - they can be had at ebay for less than 10 EUR.

i have a problem with my ipod mini. it has a plug in sign on it. i pluged it in and it still had the sign. what should i do?

Was it charged before? Is it still recognized by the pc? Can you do a full software restore of the ipod?

i just got this i-pod mini from my frd and when i plugged it in everything was fine but then itunes said tht there is a software update available for the ipod and i accepted the update and after it was updated it said something like to put it on to the power adaptor which i dont have i charge through the pc usb cable.it doesnt turn on any more whichever button i press it just comes up with the power plug&socket pic on it.it just doesnt turn on.pls help me very urgently.

My Ipod Froze, I waited 1 whole night for the battery to waste, THE DAMN SONG SCREEN THING IS STILL ON IT, the ipod been on all night, I plug in the charger, and nothing happens.
