Ⅰ just read that [Aspyr](http://www.aspyr.com „Aspyr – Mac Games“) is going to publish the Mac version of Sid Meyer’s Civilization 4. And, of course, [Brad Oliver](http://www.brad-oliver.com:8081/~boliver/blog/archives/000753.html/„Brad’s Blog“) is doing the port. He did a very great Job porting SMAC and SMAX to OSX – so Ⅰ am pretty certain this will be awesome! Since these days Brad has become some sort of my „personal hero“ – he was working on SMAC/X bug fixes as well as a OSX version without it being his main job – aka spare time – or personal self development or so. He was also very good at answering emails as well; so, Brad, if you read this: Thank you so much – you have made a considerable time of those days a very good time to live in. Ⅰ just hope SMAX will at least be recompiled to run on Intel Macs in th future – it is still the only game that Ⅰ play these days, and has been so for quite some years now. (Side note: are there any games out there that can compete with SMAX??).

Good times ahead – even though the port won’t be done till beginning/mid 2006.

Meine absolute Lieblings-CD zur Zeit – geniale Texte, eine traumhafte Stimme, hinreissende Beats und Melodien…
ich hätts mir nicht denken können nach dem Sommer Hit „Das ist die perfekte Welle“ – aber der Rest der CD ist wirklich gut!

Sie haben gesagt, es würde Regen geben,

doch wir sitzen hier seit Stunden, trinken Wein

und sind einfach nur am Leben.

Der Goldene Schnitt (lat. sectio aurea) ist ein bestimmtes Verhältnis zweier Zahlen, meist Längen von Strecken, das in der Kunst und Architektur oft als ideale Proportion und als Inbegriff von Ästhetik und Harmonie angesehen wird. Darüber hinaus tritt es auch in der Natur in Erscheinung und zeichnet sich durch eine Reihe interessanter mathematischer Eigenschaften aus. Weitere verwendete Bezeichnungen sind stetige Teilung und göttliche Teilung (lat. proportio divina).
